The Southeastern Boxing Association is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting amateur boxing across Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Kentucky. We are committed to fostering athletic excellence, personal growth, and community development through sport.

Our Mission
What We Do:
Training Opportunities: Develops and delivers structured coaching, conditioning, and competition-ready programs for athletes at all levels.
Educational Resources:
Offers workshops, safety protocols, performance training, nutrition guidance, and sport governance education for participants and stakeholders.
Fundraising & Financial Support:
Facilitates fundraising initiatives and provides financial assistance to athletes, coaches, officials, and boxing clubs to remove barriers to participation.

Strengthening local clubs and communities through accessible amateur boxing opportunities.
Building a pipeline of qualified coaches and officials who uphold the sport’s highest standards.

Andy Smith
SEBA President
Andy Smith is the President of the Southeastern Boxing Association (SEBA) and the Regional Executive Director for YMCA YCAP in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began boxing at Red Bank Boxing Club (ages 10–15) and started coaching at 17 with Westside Boxing Club, which became YCAP in 2007. He aided the 2008 USA Olympic Boxing Team and served as an assistant coach for the 2012 USA Olympic Boxing Team in Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro. He also led SEBA’s 2009 boxing mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Today, he mentors youth and leads SEBA toward helping others reach ambitious goals.
